You must have gotten that easy. Texas. That’s where I was last week. Yeehah! No rodeos, ranches, and horses for me though except for some sightings from a distance. And nope, no cowboys either.

On the other hand, there were wonderful friends, warm acquaintances and adorable, playful children.
There were nocos sinugba, mami, barbecue, and afritada. Yum! There were Ding Dong and sambag too!
There were highways, beltways and skyways. There were long trips and longer trips. There’s so much land out there. They are selling by the acres.
There were gatherings and feasts. There were conversations, stories, laughter and reminiscences.
Happily, it was a fun-filled Lone Star visit.
Thanks to my friend Cherry and her husband Sir Melvic, Tita Helen, Myrah Joy and Devy, Jingle and Peter Paul, the kids Angela, Bea, Drey and Drew and the Filipino Community in Tomball, Texas.
